Missions is what the church does in keeping with the Great Commission of their sovereign Lord to extend their witness and ministry beyond themselves to bring all persons to Christ to glorify God. The church is God’s people on God’s mission

Vision Statement

The vision for the Mission Ministry is to fulfill the Great Commission according to Matthew 28:18-20 by involving and exposing as many of Kettering Baptist Church members, both youth and adults, to missions work, its benefits, its service and its viability to be a career choice.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Missions Ministry is to fulfill the vision through involvement with local, national, and international mission opportunities. Some of the opportunities will be directly planned by Kettering’s Missions Ministry, but on some occasions we will cooperate with other mission groups in events they are doing. We will be intentional about selecting a variety of people for participation in mission opportunities. We will provide information for other mission opportunities so individuals can participate independently. We will support missionaries and mission projects through prayer and monetary contributions.

Purpose

The Mission’s Ministry exists for the purpose of glorifying God and fulfilling the Great Commission, Matthew 28:18-20 and Acts 1:8.
