George Liele Day of Missions
February 4
On Sunday, February 4th we will observe George Liele Day of Missions. He was America’s first missionary, and in honor of his legacy, we are committed to the following: • Raising awareness of the person and work of George Liele • Leading members to engage in a specific mission project or partnership – i.e. supporting an African American Church Planter • Contributing to the annual George Liele Mission Offering. Offerings received are used to support African American SBC church planters and National African American Fellowship (NAAF) supported global mission projects and partnerships.
