SUMMARY:Notification of Sexual Abuse Awareness Training
DESCRIPTION:Attention Kettering Ministry Members Who Directly or Indirectly Interact with Children: In support of the Caring Well Initiative\, we launched the Ministry Safe Training in May 2026 to provide Sexual Abuse Awareness Training to those ministry members who interact directly or indirectly with children. This is a reminder to please complete your Sexual Abuse Awareness Training and/or read/signed Kettering’s Children’s Youth Ministries Policy and Procedure guideline sent via email from Ministry Safe. You should have been notifi ed directly by your Ministry Leader of this assignment.\nThis is a mandatory assignment and a valuable tool so that each ministry member will know how to govern themselves and to also know what to lookout for if a predator is in our midst. Our main goal is to protect our children!\nOn Monday\, November 2nd\, 2026\, you will receive an email from Ministry Safe which will contain your dashboard. Once you click on the Dashboard link\, you will see three headings (i.e.\, My Training\, My History\, My Documents). Under the heading “My Training” is where you will find the Sexual Abuse Awareness Training video followed by a quiz. Under the “My Documents” is where you will see a link. Click on the link to read/sign KBC’s Children’s and Youth Policies and Procedures. This is a two-step process.\nThe Dashboard link is only available for 7 calendar days before it expires (i.e.\, from November 2nd\, 2026 – November 9th\, 2026).
